What the checker checks
Is there a cart?
A cart/basket/bag link on the site, a cart page that resolves, and a rendered item list — the minimum a store needs before anything else matters.
Is the math clear?
Editable quantities, per-line pricing, a visible order subtotal, a promo-code field, and shipping estimated or disclosed near the cart — no checkout surprises.
Can they finish?
A remove-item affordance, an obvious checkout CTA, a guest or express checkout path with no forced account, and no placeholder copy.
