What the checker checks
One site, one URL?
HTTPS enforced from the http:// variant, www and bare host resolving to the same final URL, and both redirects permanent (301/308) so ranking signals transfer instead of leaking.
Clean redirect chains
Every variant resolves in a single hop — no chains, no loops, no downgrade back to plain HTTP mid-chain, and no meta-refresh shortcuts where a server redirect belongs.
No accidental twins
Trailing-slash and /index.html variants don't serve the page a second time, the final URL actually loads, and the page's canonical tag agrees with where the redirects land.
